About the event
This talk will cover optimisations that can be applied to Web Apps or Services (APIs) on the server side as well as client side (for single page applications) to make it super fast and responsive. Topics will include server side and client side caching, web server optimisations (nginx specifically but will apply to other web servers as well), SSL optimisations, packaging static resources such as JS, CSS, images for optimal deliver, use of CDNs. Finally I will cover some useful tools that can be used for measure site speed and improve performance.
